Mine was actually over the phone, but mostly they are going to ask you why you want to be a nurse and then you'll discuss your prerequisites and any classes you may have in progress. Don't stress out, you'll be fine! Good luck!
Was that your only so called Interview? By the way, do you know whether you can quit after you receive your BSN degree if you decide to pursue your CRNA degree instead of MSN in other fields?
Just an update, I received a call from the main campus to set up my pre-advising session. I will be physically meeting with a counselor. She said that I could consider it an interview, but mostly just a time to go over my transcripts and answer any questions before they start reviewing applications at the end of November. While I'll still dress professionally, I don't think it's considered a formal interview.
Ahh, I'm still nervous!

Congrats. What term and which campus are you applying for? When did you submit your application?
Thanks.
When you had a pre-advisement session, was it at the Graduate Admissions office with the ELMSN enrollment counselor or was it at the School of Nursing with one of their counselors?
I turned in my application on October 4th, but haven't heard anything from the SON, only a letter from the Graduate Admissions office that the application was complete and they were forwarding it to the academic department.
Have you heard anything from the SON? I'm applying for the main campus. Thanks........

Hi everyone!
Just wondering (for those who have done it already) what to expect for APU pre-advising sessions? Are they your actual nursing school interviews or are you just discussing the program itself? Should you dress professionally and have answers ready for any interview questions? And if so, what type of questions did they ask you? Any help would be great. Thanks! :)
