Hello everyone!Â
Has anyone heard back for interviews for any location?Â

Hi. I wasn't rejected last term but I was waitlisted. I never received a notification for a rejection letter. I reapplied for this term and still haven't heard back. I'm very anxious, trying to keep my hopes up!

Hi! I was a medical scribe for 2 years in a ER, then a CNA on a oncology floor for 1 year, and now I have been a MA for the past 2 years at office!

I didn't have work experience but I work in a hospital in Human Resources. Tbh I think what helped me was my interview. My undergrad GPA was low but my prerequisites GPA was a 3.7. Also don't be discouraged, I have been applying to schools since 2023/2024 and was about to give up but I got into 2 schools this time and get the chance to pick. Just keep trying if it is meant for you it will work out.
What truly helped me was my interview, it was rescheduled with a different person which in a way helped me because the second person I interviewed with, really connected with me and allowed me to express myself, my journey and why I want to go to APU. In terms of experience. I was a CNA for 3 years but I also worked in a hospital for years before that in different roles, for example; Administration and physical therapy. Tbh I feel like you need atleast 1 healthcare experience on your resume that you can talk about with passion and show them you want to be in nursing. Â
Thank you so much for sharing your very thoughtful responses! I'm always so blown away by how competitive this field is but how kind and generous everyone is. I know everyone will be super busy in the upcoming months, so I definitely understand that this may be asking for a bit much... but I want to increase my probability for the next application cycle and wanted to ask if anyone would be willing to share their thoughts on areas I can improve for the next cycle (connecting via email). Â
