Hi!
I didn't see a thread created for the APU ELM Spring 2024 intake so I decided to get one started. Feel free to introduce yourself, post your thoughts, or ask any questions you may have!
Good luck on your nursing journey!

Has anyone heard anything yet?
That's how I felt! I was accepted at another program and already started the onboarding process with them. I think I'll be giving up my offer from AZUSA if I get in. I want to start nursing ASAP and this program is also for Spring 24. Good luck to you all ladies!
Oh by the way I saw some Azusa students yesterday at work doing clinical's and they told me that students who are admitted will be receiving a phone call prior to an acceptance email. So I highly recommend to keep your phones closer than ever. LOL ???

Hello everyone! I reached out to SD admissions again and this is the reply:
"The decisions have been more delayed than we anticipated. It sounds like the final committee meeting will be tomorrow morning. I am hoping that the decisions can be processed by the end of the day tomorrow but it may end up being Monday. It will depending on how early in the day the School of Nursing sends them over."
Hopefully, we hear back before the weekend starts. I need to set up things for next year as well. @NAC28 which school did you get accepted to? I am doing the onboarding process and have orientation on Dec. 20th with another school. If I get accepted to Azusa I will be giving up my seat and it starts Spring 2024 as well.
I hope everyone gets in! haha

My guess would be Monday then. It seems really late for a program that starts in January! I'm pretty much through the onboarding process with another school, so like @NAC28, I will probably give up my spot - it's just too much stress to redo Complio requirements. Good luck to everyone! I wish you all the best!

Thanks for the update. I'm wondering if they misspoke. Tomorrow is Veteran's Day so I think they're closed so my guess is definitely next week. I kept hearing mid November so it would be right in line with that. I wasn't expecting it until right before Thanksgiving so I'll take next week for sure! ??
Congrats on the other offer:) Best of luck!
jessicalea28 said:What were the Complio requirements? I haven't paid for my back ground check because I am waiting on Azusa. I have only created an account.
And yes, super late!!
I assume they are similar, but the program I'm currently in wants background check, drug screening, titers for all the common vaccinations, doctor signed form indicating you're capable of performing all duties, and a bunch of authorization forms (ie mandated reporter, federal facility release, photo/media release etc.). It's not a huge deal but these days it's difficult to get in to the doctor! I can transfer some of it on complio but if they have any specific school ones, that's just more stuff.

That explains... LOL. I hope everyone gets in!
@jessicalea28 I got accepted at NU but I recently got an offer from CSUSM so I'm going for their ABSN program instead. I'm doing all the fun stuff on complio on top of my Research methods class final project! it's so much and I don't even need the class anymore! :'(

I haven't heard back. I was reading the APU nursing thread and candidates for other nursing programs are starting to hear back. Maybe the MSN-E's will hear back this week too??????
