I didn't see a thread created for the APU ELM Spring 2024 intake so I decided to get one started. Feel free to introduce yourself, post your thoughts, or ask any questions you may have!

I'm also prepping but hard to know exactly what they're going to ask so just trying to have answers to everything hahaha

My overall GPA is 4.0 ( science and non- science) I added my CNA experience working at a hospital and a letter of recommendation from employer. I think that probably helped. My interview is on Tuesday in SD location. Good luck to everyone who got an interview! And if you haven't hopefully you get the email soon! ????

Right! I think they will definitely ask Why Azusa? Why nursing? Give example of moral situation, etc. Know the difference between nurse and NP and why an advanced practice? How do you handle stressful situations. Probably Q's like those.

I think it will be along those lines as well. Just preparing for any curve balls because you never know! I'm sure we'll all do great!

Hey everyone, just got the email this morning and set up my interview for the Monrovia campus. Super excited!☺️ 

My stats are 4.0 non science GPA (w/one prereq in progress) and 3.79 science GPA, as well as my CNA experience. Good luck to everyone prepping for the interview currently!!

I had my interview at SD campus. I feel like it was good but you know you always think of how you could of done better after the fact! Positive thoughts though! The interviewer asked me situational questions. Have how I dealt with an ethical dilemma? How do I handle stress? What characteristics do I have to help me succeed? A time where I encountered a stressful situation and how did I deal with it?

TBH I don't know! I thought it went well but all of this wait is giving me anxiety! I got accepted somewhere else but APU is my first choice. Any idea when we're supposed to hear from them? How was your interview?
