Hi all!
I am an LPN with 12 years experience in various departments and am 2 semesters away from graduating with my BSN. I went back to school so that I could work L&D and then go on for a CNM. My question is...do you think joining AWHONN will help me make contacts so that I can get an L&D job when I graduate?
Appreciate the advice.

Yes! I think it will help you. Also if you are looking for financial help to attend school for your CNM, organisations that give $ like the March of Dimes view AWHONN membership as a plus. If your chapter is an active one, you'll also meet lots of people and have opportunities for continuing ed. Best of luck to you!
