AWHONN Membership on Resume

Hello all! I was just wondering how would you write down that you are a member of AWHONN on your resume? would you simply put for ex) "AHWONN - Joined Nov 2013"

Specializes in Nurse-Midwife.

I have a line on my resume titled "Professional Memberships"

Then I list the memberships alphabetically:

American Association of Birth Centers

American College of Nurse-Midwives

Association of Women's Health, Obstetrical and Neonatal Nurses

etc.

You could put a second line with the date you joined, or not. Up to you.

I list my memberships

1996 -- Current International Society of Psychiatric Nurses (ISPN)

But only because it keeps the format consistent with the way I list my education and work experience, and I prefer the way that looks. I don't know whether it matters if I list the date I joined or not.
