Hello all,
I am a mom of three looking to return to college. I have completed 80% of my pre reqs (just need to retake A&PI and A&PII since it has been about 9 years since I completed them and Micro.
I just applied to the day time nursing program at Lancaster General College and wondered if anyone can give me an estimate on how long it will be before I get my acceptance/rejection letter. The anticipation is killing me. :) I got a call today that they were processing it, and that they have all of my required paperwork, but are still missing one colleges transcript which should be arriving today or tomorrow at the latest. Also, wondered if rejection letters come in a regular standard envelope? I am assuming acceptance letters come in the larger thin envelopes. Sorry such a silly question, but I am so excited and nervous. Any feedback is appreciated.

My school had dates listed for when the letters would be sent out on school's web site. My acceptance letter came in a large envelope along with information and forms to fill out. Rejection letters were standard business envelopes.
Good luck!

I have applied too and I am still waiting for a response from Lancaster. Did you receive anything yet?

Hi! I got my acceptance letter about 1.5 weeks after they received all of my information. My acceptance letter came in a standard sized business envelope, nothing fancy. I'm going to start attending the evening program this coming fall.

It's May 1st and I haven't heard a word from LGCNHS. Have been calling a couple of weeks and all they are saying is ther's been a backlog in letters for Fall applicants. Called today and spoke to counselor who said they can't find my name on the system. Got very disappointed. O' and since I'm applying into the Advanced Placement Option, I need to have completed their Math course prior to the transitional course end of May. This is not stated in the brochure/informtion package nor is it in their website.
Am so disappointed. LGCNHS did not even issue a computerized acknowledgement letter upon recieving my application, and this was a HAND delivered application.
Somebody plz give me words of encouragement!
