Average Salary in St. Augustine Area

I’m looking to relocate to St. Augustine, FL. Can anyone share the average salary for BSN, RN with 5 1/2 years experience? I’m looking into SNFs or LTC or Home Health.

Hi,

The only info I can provide is in regards to the only hospital in St Augustine which is Flagler. With 5years experience you’ll probably make $27-28/ hr. Shift diff is $3-5 for nights and weekends. Pay is capped at $32-35 though ( not including differentials).

There are a couple of LTC & SNF in town but not sure what their pay is. You can also try Putnam Medica Center, their pay is higher. Good luck!

Wow. That’s pretty low. I’m in LTC now in a management position but when I got my first hospital job as a floor nurse I got offered $32 for 1 1/2 years experience in LTC. It wasn’t even hospital experience. I thought Florida paid better than Colorado.
