Hi, I'm a masters-prepared nurse with 3 years of experience. I have a national certification in clinical transplant nursing. I'm currently living in Maryland, which is the only state I've ever worked in. I plan to move to Seattle within the next few months, and when creating a profile to apply to jobs, I have no idea how much compensation to ask for. I've searched Google for average pay, and get wildly different numbers from reliable reporting sites. Can anyone who is currently working or who has worked in Washington or Seattle give me an idea of what I can reasonably ask for? Thank you!

Many facilities in the Seattle area are union, so your pay will be based on years of experience, unless you take a salaried position. WSNA is one of the larger unions and copies of contracts are available online at WSNA.org. I think that University of Washington is the main hospital doing transplants.
Best of luck to you!
