AVC Fall 2022

Hi All! 

Thought I would create a new topic for AVC's Fall 2022 RN applicants. As of right now, I applied with 65 points; however, I am going to retake my TEAS for a higher, overall score. Anyone else willing to share their points?

the committee should be done reviewing applications this week. Please continue to monitor your email daily for any updates. ” 

So fingers crossed we hear something by the end of the week ??

Hi there! Any updates yet. I applied with 75 points. Praying to get in this time. I applied with 60 last Spring since they missed to add 5 points on one of the criterias and -took the TEAS again. I hope all of us gets in this time ?

Question for you guys, if you don’t get in this year do we have to retake the TEAS? 
I heard they are changing it this year.

I am not sure specifically for AVC, but some colleges mentioned that they will have a "transition period" which means they will be accepting TEAS VI for the next one or two application periods, probably and hopefully till fall 2023.

I hope they don’t but then again I want to redo my TEAS. I got a 72% overall 70 points total for LVN to RN bridge program. If I don’t get in this for this year I am considering redoing the TEAS for more points. I just don’t know if 70 points is good enough

I just got my email too. I was accepted to the program for LVN to RN bridge. Crying tears of joy!!

OMG congrats! We are going to be classmates soon :D!!
