Avanti hospitals (East la, huntington, Memorial hospital of gardena, Coast plaza) Anyone here got an interview already? or maybe someone that knows their hiring process for new grad? any updates? thank you!

Do you know when the applications are due by?

Called the recruiter to ask about how long. She sad no due date yet. Everyone apply in person or online?

Go to one of the Avanti Hospitals. Make sure you already have all the documents they require (copy of transcript, california license and CPR, (2) recommendations from clinical instructors and personal statement. You fill the application on the hospital and submit it there.

I thought they said not to fill out the online application? I filled out one on SmartHires and forgot to attach the other documents now i can't edit it!

I went there today and I had filled out my application with all the documents in a folder but they still made me copy over my typed application into hand writing.....so be prepared to handwrite and fill out the really small print....

Well if you can make the trip it's probably worth it to drive down and hand deliver it. They go through a lot of effort to make this an in person process, with the handwritten application and the request for you to walk it in. However, the address listed is the HR office and I'm certain if you mailed it that your application would reach the hospital....I just think that they are taking notes on the people who walk in, it's probably like a prescreening thing:bookworm:

they said the applications will all be forwareded to ----------, the nurse recruiter at Coast Plaza. Im going to drop it off in person at Coast Plaza since shes going to be the one making the final decision.
