So what is the story with the Filipino nurses who are facing criminal charges for quitting their jobs? I understand the resignation took place in April 2006 but the trial begins next week.

They are so worried about the nursing shortage if they prosecute these nurses they may see a bigger shortage. Who wants to be in a job they can't quit on their own terms? I thought slavery was illegal.
