Hi - can anyone help?
I am a UK registered Nurse, wishing to apply to work in Australia. I have contacted a few agencies regarding the process etc. and they have advised that I complete the ANMAC first. However, speaking with other people who I work with they have said that I need to complete the APHRA first then ANMAC, then others have said that I need to apply for both at the same time!
Is there anyone that can give me some advice as to go about this?
I have done my IELTS, and gathered the documents for the application for ANMAC, but at a loose end as to which to apply to!
Thanks :)

AHPRA is the important one so definitely get that one started
ANMAC is for those applying via skilled visa so will depend if you are applying for that or not.
The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council's (ANMAC) International Services section assesses the skills of nurses and midwives seeking to migrate to Australia under Australia's General Skilled Migration program. Ok that's great thanks!
The skilled visa? Someone mentioned this to me, but I am a little unsure of it - do you have any advice?
Sorry but I moved to Canada so have no experience with Australia
