Australian Nurse to USA

Hello everyone. I just recently passed my NCLEX and finally got my NY RN license. Im just wondering which step should I take next in moving to USA, whether to apply for E3 visa (which requires me to obtain an employer first) or apply in one of the agencies like Avant? Has anyone had the same dilemma with me? what would you suggest and how long they normally take to process either options? thank you

Hi everyone 

 

I know all the post are old and hoping someone will respond and give me some guidance as I am new to this. I have 12 years experience RN in Queensland Aussie and wanted to relocate to USA. I have no preference for states. Just wanted to know the first step I should take in this. Will it be better to move there and do all the process or start here. 

 

About the NCLEX , where can I do it? Please excuse my ignorance but I am all confused about the while process, guidance will be greatly appreciated. I am looking at relocating next year and eventually stay for good.

Hi Jeff. I want to ask when you applied for Nysed to take the NCLEX NY how did you submit the form 3F? Or you just asked AHPRA to send the CoRS form to NYSED? Thank you!
