Hi there, I am an Australian trained registered nurse with a BSN and a Masters. Currently I am a team leader after having been a nurse educator for several years. We are looking to come to the USA for a year or two but the process for an E3 visa is very long. I am just wondering what the job situation is like in the Miami area or if we are just overly hopeful? I'd like to do my PhD but will only commence if the job search seems hopeless. Thanks, Kim

Low pay, high cost of living. Also, do you speak Spanish? I left Miami two years ago. Search the site for florida pay.

I concur with the other poster, low pay and high cost of living in Miami, high crime rate too. I wouldn't bother going to Miami unless I was fluent in Spanish both verbally and written.
