I am looking into getting mine there and the pricing is very reasonable and I've heard good things about the program. I have a degree already and they said a lot of my pre-reqs would be waived for humanities and English so I mostly am completing the sciences then I can go straight to the nursing curriculum which would be about 5 semesters long.

Yes, I did, I am actually going to graduate from the program in May 2026! I'm very happy with my choice to go with them!

Is the work load too much? I am concerned that I will spend every waking moment studying. I have adhd and I don't want to set myself up for failure. I'm debating on if I should look for a part time school or something more manageable.

I don't know your entire personal situation, but I personally have an active-duty husband and three kids, and while it definitely requires a lot of time, commitment, and organization, it is manageable. I also have ADHD and have found I thrive the most when I keep an organized calendar. If it isn't in my Apple calendar, it doesn't exist LOL. There are many non-traditional students with a variety of personal challenges or commitments, and we've all managed to succeed. You can too, you just have to find what works for you! Personally, one of the reasons I am glad I chose APSU is that the faculty are extremely supportive of non-traditional students and strive to be accommodating in reasonable circumstances.

Thank you! Truly I appreciate it. I'm going to go back to campus and talk to the nursing instructors again. I wanted to take the fall off but now I'm doing Microbiology in the fall of 2026. So I can finish my psychology degree in the Summer.

Anyone gotten their BSN from Austin Peay? Would this be ideal for a 30 year old or should I get my AASN first from Nashville State?
Thanks in advance.
