I got an interview but my portal still says awaiting admission just to give you a little peace of mind

Those who haven't gotten denials or interview invites think it's strange to not to have some sort of update knowing interviews start in 2 weeks?

So, I did get an interview invite but to share my experience from another program. I have not heard anything at all since submitting my app in September. They have already conducted interviews, accepted an denied people. It's been radio silence on their end towards me. I kind of seems like that is the approach with programs these days. They don't say anything until the whole process is done and all seats are filled.
