Are their any hopefull students that are waiting on their acceptance calls or letters for fall 2016?
I just found out what 1st/2nd ranking means.... First ranking is done in February and is if your classes are done in December and they get the first 17 slots then everyone from first ranking that didn't make it in is put into second ranking and those are ranked for the last 17 slots so it is highly possible people with Lower gpa than you or I get in due to being in first ranking...
This is a good article on accredited vs. non-accredited schools:

I spoke to one of the nursing advisers at Augusta Tech, and he told me that I would not have a problem getting my bachelors if I chose to do so later on. So, I started researching it on my own, and I found out that most colleges will not accept the nursing credits from Augusta Tech because they are not accredited. So, the problem is with continuing on to get a bachelor's degree. I think that article lists certain colleges who do accept credits from non-accredited nursing schools. I also called the hospitals in Augusta and spoke to nursing recruiters who said they do hire graduates from Augusta Tech even though they are not accredited.
Good luck to both of you! I am still waiting, and it is not fun
That's more than she ever told me..lol. I asked her on several different occasions, and she always told me she didn't know.
That is one of the issues I have had with Augusta Tech the whole time I've been going there. I can never believe what one person tells me because someone else always says something different.
Thanks for the advice!
I went to Augusta tech ADN program and graduated in December 2014. They are not NLN accredited. That accreditation is a voluntary one. As long as the school you are in is regionally accredited you can transfer those credits. I am now getting my masters degree and it hasn't hindered me at all. I work at university hospital and all of my classmates were hired within a month of passing NCLEX. I also work with several students from the graduating class after me and they are all great. If you can survive that program you will do just fine.

I do not think they will send out letters.
