Augusta CRNA Fall 2022

Starting a thread to see all who applied to Augusta University's Fall 2022 CRNA program.

Good luck to all of those who applied.

Any idea when we hear back? I know Augusta changed up their semester start dates.

They're having interviews mid Jan. Does anyone know how many students they typically interview vs how many are accepted?

I feel like it was a good interview! Definitely liked that it was personality questions not clinical ?

They were a very nice but it went by so fast….kind of makes me think that what we look like on paper weighs more heavily than the interview. Did anyone ask when we should know decisions by?

I think they said the point of the interview is to see whether you would be a good fit. They probably already have an idea of the candidates they want, at least that's how it came across for me. They said by the weekend they'd know who they want but they have to process background checks and some other things before sending notices. It'll be about two weeks they said.

In my opinion their app was way more comprehensive than others I’ve done so I honestly feel like there wasn’t much else to do besides meet me and see if they like me as a person. I did feel like the interview was a little short for a personal style interview though. I did mine today and ------------ said they would have their final selections today after interviews are over but we won’t be notified for 2 weeks.

I also got the vibe that they kind of already knew who they wanted. If every group had the same amount of people I would guess they interviewed 80-100 people?

Also ----------- said that we would be notified through the portal of decisions but for some reason I thought they called if you were accepted. At least they have in the past. Does anyone know?

Not sure how we'll be notified. ------------ said they're interviewing 1.5x as many people as they have spots for.
