ATTN Rex Hospital nurses

I am so excited, I was just hired for a NA job at Rex hospital in Raleigh...My question; the next orientation is May 10th. March and April are full? Is that normal to have to wait so long to start?

Yes they offer me the job on NOvember and I did orientation in February

Wow, is this long orientation wait the same for nurses too? I was offered a job as an RN at Rex hospital and they wanted me to start now. However, I'm not moving to NC until September. If I move in September I can't afford to not be able to start working because all of the orientation classes are full.

I'm an RN too.You better ask the HR.Maybe it depends on the staffing demands.

Wow that sucks. The HR lady asked me when I could start and I said September and she said she was looking for someone sooner than that. She told me to apply again in May or June. But if the wait for orientation really takes that long then I should be able to take the job now and start orientation in September. Maybe there isn't a long wait now or something. I guess I should call them back and see.
