I don't really understand what you mean. I did CTS and PearsonVue at same time. My classmates that were trying to hang on to the $200 as long as possible and only did CTS, didn't get their ATTs.
My school sent in all our documents to CTS. We just got online and applied for exam here:
https://www.continentaltesting.net/application/applicationForm.aspx?iProfessionID=10
Then we registered for exam at PearsonVue.
ATT came via email.
We were fingerprinted at school and school send all documents to CTS. We just applied.
I didn't get word from CTS I was eligible, I knew I was because I graduated.
Hi! I am currently in the same situation as you were in a few years ago. I submitted all my requirements to CTS, but I still haven't paid for Pearson Vue. Does this mean that I need to pay first before getting any updates from CTS?
You probably will not hear anything until you pay Pearson. We had a couple of classmates not realize they had to pay both, and did not hear anything or receive an ATT until they contacted them, were told they still needed to pay for Pearson, and did so.

I have sent my application last July to CTS... Do I need to register to PearsonVue first to get the ATT even if I have not received a confirmation from CTS? I saw this somewhere:
"4. REGISTER WITH PEARSON VUE FOR THE NATIONAL COUNCIL LICENSURE EXAMINATION (NCLEX) BY WEB, MAIL OR TELEPHONE
Register with Pearson for the NCLEX at the same time as submitting your application to Continental Testing Services (CTS). The NCLEX costs $200 (as of 2012)."
