Atlantic Cape Community College

Published

I was wondering if there was anyone who is applying to Atlantic Cape Community college for the fall 15' year? I have an A, 2 Bs and a C in my pre-reqs and a 77 on my TEAS. I know they just opened up more spots but I was wondering if anyone knew what they usually take? I am prior military and am trying to get a gauge on whether or not I might make it.

I am applying for this program. I have an A in English 101, Psych 101, Soc 101, and an A- in Anatomy and Physiology I. And I have an 84% on my TEAS V. Hoping its enough!

Generally, you would need a 4.0 in the pre-req's to be considered. You're teas score is pretty good but they will tend to look for those who have a 4.0 in the pre-reqs and then narrow those people down by their individual teas scores. I am not sure how many more students they will be accepting due to the night class being made available for the first time this fall (i'm guessing somewhere in the neighborhood of 20-25 extra).

Basically, ACCC is a VERY competitive program and it is not uncommon for people to apply more than once. I myself am apply with a 4.0 in my pre reqs and I will be taking my teas on Friday after 4 months of studying.

If you don't get in, maybe try to look at other CC's in the area. I know Cumberland and Ocean county have different requirements. Also, you will most likely need to bring those grades up to at least an A-.

Best of luck to you!

***No offense meant here***

They actually rank us according to a composite score of our prereq GPA and TEAS V score... They don't just look at people with 4.0 GPAs UNLESS everyone applying has a 4.0.
