Does anyone have feedback on using Portage for prereqs around Atlanta? Were they accepted/denied?
Edit: I'm referring to the lab sciences here like both A&P courses. I'm sure something without a lab would go through fine.
Specifically, I'm looking at Chattahoochee Tech, Kennesaw State, Georgia Highlands, and possibly Brenau. Chattahoochee is first because they don't shelf-life prereqs. However, we know I can't put all my eggs in one basket and I need to be prepared. I liked Brenau for how quickly I would get through the ABSN, but I didn't like the cost or the fact that they made it sound as if I'd even have to retake non-science prereqs. It's almost like not having a degree at all! Right now, they're the last choice, but I suppose if things really go south I'll have to look at Herzing/Chamberlain (not knocking the education but they don't have ABSN in Atlanta and I think it's even more expensive).
The reason I want to use Portage is that I have a bachelors degree already, and I've already taken most of the prereqs. This would just be retaking them due to being over the "shelf-life". I can also get them knocked out quickly and hopefully get into school quicker.
I'm also open to any other schools within an hour or so. If you know of any other schools that do not have a shelf-life on prereqs, please let me know.
