Has anyone taken it? It's an entrance requirement in the program I'm trying to get into and I have to take it in April.. I've looked all over the internet and cant find any kind of sample questions! I'm kinda freaking out, just wanna know what its all about, and what kind of questions are on it. Is it passages you read and answer questions about? Any info would be apprieciated.

As I remember, the questions were more reasoning and geared towards science and math. For example, if John is older than Tom and Tom is older than Jake, John would be older than ??? The questions are not that difficult. I took it and scored a 91% and did not study (because I was unable to find information about it like you). You will do fine. There aren’t really any formulas or information you need to have memorized before you go in. The test simply measures your critical thinking skills.

I just took the critical thinking exam a week ago. It was....strange. I haven't gotten my score back yet. I did have some questions on it as stated above, and others that just seemed odd. There really is no way to study for this test. My advice, read each question slowly. There is only ONE answer for each question, even though it may seem there could be more. I have never taken a test like this one. I was very nervous about it because I couldn't study for it. Be focused...drink coffee! =) There really wasn't any math on the exam. There were things like putting numbers/letters in sequencial order after looking at their example. But mainly, just reading phrases and matching up with the answer that best describes it. Go slow....read carefully! Good luck....hopefully I had it while taking the exam!
