I'd love to hear from those of you attending Athens Tech ADN program. I'm looking into it, and just noticed it's a 6 quarter program - so is that a Fall, Spring, and then Fall program...then you graduate?
Is it a 5 day a week program?
That would be terrific, but I'm also curious to know if you would recommend the program?
Do you enjoy it, are the professors good?
Any information would be helpful.

I am not "in" the program yet, but hope to be next Fall.
ATC (as well as other 2-year schools in GA) are changing to semesters starting Fall 2011.
They have not published the curriculum for the semester system yet.
I have taken AP 1 & 2, Eng 101, Algebra, and Microbiology (current quarter). I will be finishing up my non-nursing classes this coming Spring 2011 quarter. I have heard only good things from the one person I know in the ADN program.
I suggest going to an ADN information session and they will be able to address questions particular to your situation.
Here is the next information session:
Associate Degree Nursing Program Overview
Event Date(s): 03/14/2011
Time: 1:30 P.M.-2:20 P.M.
Location: Room M-105 (Athens Campus)

Good luck

I just got accepted to the ATC ADN program. The other poster is correct about the change from quarters to semesters. As far as how class will be arranged, it is still up in the air. I assume that we will find out in our mandatory info session in may. I can only assume that it will be a 4 semester setup.
