Hi, I was wondering if anyone had heard of/gone to Athena Career Academy in Toledo for their LPN program? How was it??? Do any of the credits transfer to an ADN program?(I'm in Michigan) Thanks in advance! Melissa

Hi Melissa, I called them and their higher than the school I'm going to attend next year which is Toledo School of Practical Nursing. Athena is new and when I went on the Ohio Board of nursing website they were listed under Conditional status for now so i'm not really sure if that means they're still pending accredidation. Check out Toledo School Of Practical Nursing and Professional Skills Institute. I'm from Michigan too and I'm willing to take the hour drive. Every school here has tons of pre-req's for they're LPN programs and long waitlist. These 2 schools I mentioned has 3 or 4 start time a year.

Hey sirena, just curious, Im looking into the toledo school of practical nursing as well, was wondering how much is it and have you taken the net yet? Are you going to the day or evening program?
Hey Porkey the # for TSPN is 419-671-8706 and request a information packet. I'm looking at it now and the cost is $9000 and $400 extra for out of state residents. You need to have a CNA class too which is $500 extra if you dont already have a CNA class/license you can take it there. The Net test is $50 which I haven't taken yet. I'm not looking to go until next year but I'm practicing for the net test, timing myself, lol. The packets are mailed in immediatly.
OH and they only offer the evening class once a year. The lady told me they might not have one next year and its 18 months. I'd rather go 12, so I'm going to make some adjustments.
