Hello, I am just new here and I am an Internationally Educated RN currently working here in Canada as an RN. I just recently received my official letter of acceptance from the Athabasca UNiversity for the Master of Nursing-Nurse Practitioner stream and I am starting the program this May.
I would like to ask/know if there is any of you who have attended the same program and I want to know/get a feedback.
Thank you very much.

Hi,
I am starting this program in May. I have heard its very well organized program and very well structured. Did you accept the offer?

Oh my goodness, this is my top choice for nurse practitioner programs. Congrats on getting in!! Do you mind telling me your stats? Ie. GPA, previous experience, and if you had any volunteer work? Good luck with everything!! :)

I know this is an older thread but can someone tell me how the clinical practicum works? I live in Ontario.

can someone give us feedback on how they liked it...pros cons, job prospects. Im a student nurse and am highly intrested in this program for the future..how did placements go? also they emphasize that they do not train NPs for acute care, did anyone find this to be troublesome?
