ASU's DNP program

Is anyone currently in this program? I'm finishing up my masters and am waiting to go straight into the DNP program, but is that possible or should I work as an NP first?? I would like to hear from people in the program!! Thanks for any information!

the UofA has a BSN-to-DNP (with MSN en route) which I am in (the first class actually). ASU will probably be going that route in the near future so I would think that you can move straight into the DNP program.

Hey I am interested in the ASU- BSN-DNP program...How is the program? What was the process that you had to go through to get into the program? Do you find it difficult to go from a BSN to DNP? Did you work before you entered the program?? I am sure i'll think of other questions...thanks man.

BrandiAnn,

Yeah - I just graduated with my BSN in May and have been researching the ASU DNP program for Psychiatric/Mental Health. The only problem is -- the program doesn't start until 2009. They are currently taking applications though...

I have completed part of my application. So, in the meantime I am planning on working for the VA system and having them pay for my DNP and Forensics MS.

Are you planning on attending this coming year?
