i am a 3rd year student about to qualify in 4 weeks..yay! so excited yet scared at the same time.
I am currently in the middle of an independent study assignment and my topic is....
The challenges faced by healthcare practitioners/nurses when Jehovah witness believers refuse blood transfusions
I have compete a lot of this assignment but with it being an independent study I want it to be better than I've ever done.
I've got a bit about the Jehovah background, ethics, autonomy, consent to treatment, legal issues regarding children and emergency situations, disclosing of info etc
my problem is I've been trying to look for journal articles on blood conserving surgery, ANH and other options that there may be but I can't seem to find any.
soooo, I was wondering if any body new any sites that could help, or had any ideas of things I could add to my essay.
thanks for you help
