I recently got hired as a CNA for ICU at a hospital as a resource position.
I am also working at another hospital for about 9 months now. I was wondering if it would be okay to email the nursing director of that floor and ask for feedback from the nurses I work with?
I would rather ask in person but because I work the evening shift, she is normally gone by then or if she is there, she usually is really busy. She emailed me a few times before and she would text me and ask if I can take a shift once in awhile.
I feel like the nurses I work with in the ICU have mixed feelings about me and one nurse asked if she can talk to me for a second, but then something came up right after and we never had that talk.
I just wanted to know if this would be a good idea to email for feedback when she has the chance? I rather correct my mistakes now.
I really like this unit and don't want to make mistakes or blow my chance of working here.
