Hey! im starting this forum for new grads that are applying for the Summer cohort nurse residency in austin, texas. I cant get in tough with the nursing recruiter number, does anyone know when we can start applying?

Hey! I applied two to three weeks ago. I got a email back from a hiring leader saying they wanted to schedule an interview. I did my interview two days ago and got a call back that same day for a job offer!! Did you apply already??

OMG congrats! What unit? Since their application is a general big one I am stressed.. I recently put in my application and now it says under review. I got a follow up email to fill out this Google form to get more info on my primary/secondary. I just want to hear from someone haha

Thank you!! I got an offer for a cardiovascular IMC unit! After I finished my Google form it took about 4 days to get an email from the recruiter to schedule the interview. I was just as anxious waiting for an email back!!

Did you accept the offer? Okay I'm 3 days post Google form so let's hope they email soon LOL. Were you able to talk to the recruiter about floors you were interested in, or did they go based off of the Google form?

They went based off the form I guess because I chose a Stepdown ICU as my first option and Tele as my second. Im pretty sure I will be accepting it!  What floors are you interested in?

No clue honestly, any floor I can get an interview with haha. That's why I'm so nervous. The waiting game is no fun LOL

Was this for the main seton campus?

haha im sure youll be fine I was just as nervous through the process. I recommend you watch interview tips and read up on questions they could ask because after they emailed me, the interview was two days after. They asked very behavioral based questions!

I got the Google form email on Wednesday last week and I'm still waiting to hear from the recruiter, I'm guessing things might have gotten a little delayed from the ice storm. I'm so anxious to hear back! Was your interview in person or zoom/phone call? Was it with someone from the unit or just general HR? Thanks!

My interview was via zoom but I do live out of state so im not sure if that factors into it. Also I had it with 3 managers, One of them was the floors manager that I was applying to.
