I live in Louisiana, Which is my primary state of residence. I used that LA address for everything. I called TXBON and asked if I could apply for licensure even though I lived in Louisiana they said yes. There is an option that asks if you are applying from a different state (as in don't live in Texas) you just have to choose that one. I never used a Texas address I used my own.

Hey I actually wanted to inform you guys that I actually can and did apply for a Texas state License from Louisiana. You just have to put you live in a different state! Thanks everyone for the information

My interview was a panel with 3 managers/ hiring leaders. One was for the floor I was interviewing for!

I live in Louisiana which is a compact state. I plan to move after graduation in may. Can I not apply to the Texas license right away?

My interview was via zoom but I do live out of state so im not sure if that factors into it. Also I had it with 3 managers, One of them was the floors manager that I was applying to.

haha im sure youll be fine I was just as nervous through the process. I recommend you watch interview tips and read up on questions they could ask because after they emailed me, the interview was two days after. They asked very behavioral based questions!

They went based off the form I guess because I chose a Stepdown ICU as my first option and Tele as my second. Im pretty sure I will be accepting it! What floors are you interested in?

Thank you!! I got an offer for a cardiovascular IMC unit! After I finished my Google form it took about 4 days to get an email from the recruiter to schedule the interview. I was just as anxious waiting for an email back!!

Hey! I applied two to three weeks ago. I got a email back from a hiring leader saying they wanted to schedule an interview. I did my interview two days ago and got a call back that same day for a job offer!! Did you apply already??

@peykline I applied for their July cohort about 2-3 weeks ago when they opened. Someone reached out a week later and we scheduled an interview for yesterday. I interviewed and got a call back the same day with a verbal job offer! Apply early!!

Hey! im starting this forum for new grads that are applying for the Summer cohort nurse residency in austin, texas. I cant get in tough with the nursing recruiter number, does anyone know when we can start applying?

Hey! I applied to the Piedmont nurse residency program but on the app it asked if I was graduated RN, I answered no. I graduate in May. I just want to make sure thats what everyone has been putting? I saw someone say on a different thread (for another app) that they put yes because they didn't want the app to automatically not be considered.
