Alumni here. So I graduated from ASA college and was able to sit for boards. I was able to get a job in New York easily. However, once it came time for me to move on to Connecticut that's where an issue arose in order for me to transfer my license for me to get a Connecticut nursing license I was told by the Board Of Nursing that my school was not accredited as per Connecticut nursing requirements. However, as someone previously said, Chamberlain does accept credits from ASA. So it was just a matter of me taking my BSN through Chamberlain and once I graduated, I was able to take my new degree and my nursing license and get a Connecticut license. The issue seemed to be the transcript and the school, once the school is changed to a nationally accredited school and I got a different degree, I was then able to get my license transferred to Connecticut and go to school normally and get my masters degree through Chamberlain, which is nationally accredited.
