Noreen Brennan, MA, RN,BC, CNA, likes a challenge and believes in lifelong learning. That's what motivated her to become certified in medical-surgical nursing as soon as she had two years of experience under her belt--a requirement for taking most of the 37 certification examinations the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) offers every year.
