i've just been assigned in cath lab in our hospital. i have not come across any patients yet that have multiple sheaths at the same time (max was two and the operator remembered V from A). for those with no transducers, or those doesn't routinely use 1 because of the additional costs to the patients, wat other advice can u give pls? is it always true that the venous sheath is located nearer the genitals than the arterial?
