Is it common to line up an NP job prior to graduating from your program? How far in advance should you start looking? When I was in my undergrad, I had began the application process in Decemeber and I had my job lined up in March for that coming June.. does that should about right for a NP? Thanks!

In my class one person's job had sent him to school, a few others already has some ideas from day one, others had there jobs offered during clinicals while others waited until they were out of the program.
Planning ahead I wouldn't consider a problem. The only problem with jobs being lined up is there are times when graduation and boards and getting the license in hand don't agree.

I think that depends. I really like it where I'm doing my internship so I think I'm going to take that offer. If I didn't like the place or the environment, I'd probably start lining up other prospects and I'm about three and half months out from graduating.
