Army Enlisted Commissioning Program

Published

Hi all,

I am very interested in apply for entry in the AECP, but i have a few questions.

1) How do I know if a school meets the AECP standard?

2) What are the prerequisites for the program? (such as do I need an associates or just general studies provided in the guidelines.)

3) If an associates is required, are there programs online I can complete?

Thanks for the help

Aaron

Following. My CPT tried to get me to go that route, but since I have zero interest in re-enlisting I'm just going to pay for school with my education benefits. All I know is going that route would be a 6 year reenlistment.

Thanks but i already new that an you didnt answer any of my questions

LOL ok. Obviously. Should have kept my post to myself then. Sooooorrrry! (sarcasm.)

Specializes in ICU, step down, dialysis.

Moved to Government/Military nursing for best response.

I just finished the AECP so you should check the website for the most up to date requirements. You don't need an associates but rather an acceptance to a BSN program that you can complete in 24 months that has a $9000 tuition cap per year. The school has to be within a 50 mile radius of an Army MTF. Must complete your SAT and have a combined score of over 1000 in math and english. There are some other things but that's what comes to mind right now.

There is a Facebook site that has others in your shoes.
