Armstrong Atlantic State Fall 2017 BSN

Published

Hello guys! I applied for the fall 2017 year at Armstrong State, I wanted to see if their is anyone in the same boat as me ! and we can all state our GPAS and Hesi Scores! When do we hear back from them?

Thank you so much @kp9484 may the lord be with you!! And all of you guys may God bless you in nursing school!

Thank you so much and you as well, I'm sure you'll make a great nurse. God bless you!

Im applying in Aug for spring admission but my GPA is slightly below yours so i probably wont get in either! :/

Hey I eventually got accepted into a nursing program. I will be starting his fall for my bsn at Valdosta state university. I got into Valdosta and middle Georgia state. So the key is to apply EVERYWHERE because nursing is competitive. I didn't have all the prerequisites for Armstrong so that counted against me but it was a blessing in disguise.

dang, both of those colleges are too far away for me to attend those. i dont really have a plan b if i dont get in and honestly im starting to freak out.

Calm down and just try your best to do good. Don't worry, my case for not getting in could be because they were looking for certain pre reqs to be completed and I did not have those pre reqs. I believe that if it's meant for you to be there you will be there regardless of your gpa. Trust in God

I was told you must have completed 53credit hours to be eligible to apply & must finish ap2 and micro before you started the program---that could be false, thats just what i was told.

I did not have a chemistry sequence because the school I was taking pre reed at did not require chemistry. I did not have the same microbiology that they also required as well, so I would have had to retake that if I got accepted. I don't think you should worry.

asu doesnt require chemistry either. but they do require microorganism. I apply in Aug and hopefully will know in Oct if i am accepted. Im going to find other colleges to apply to as well, just in case!

Thanks for answering :)

Question, are your GPAs based on cumulative or pre-req? Also, was volunteer service a factor in the decision process? I plan to apply for Fall 2018 Accelerated BSN. Thank you

when you apply, itll be based on cumulative gpa. No volunteer service required to apply. Many people have told me spring is easier to get accepted into than fall so im applying in Aug to hopefully start the nursing program in Jan. Im sooooooooooooo very scared that im not going to make it in.

Good luck to you!!!!!!!!!!

We should definitely keep in touch because I am applying for the Fall 2018 cycle as well...
