Armstrong Atlantic Fall 2014 - BSN

U.S.A. Georgia

Hey everyone,

I was accepted to the traditional program for this Fall, and I was hoping to get in contact with some future classmates! If you are doing your interview process, please chat too, I would love to get to know everyone. I'm currently in Atlanta, so I obviously have no friends haha. :roflmao: But seriously, I wish everyone luck on their interviews, and congrats to everyone who has already been accepted!!

I am going to the advisement on the 4th. Will I see anyone there?

Just one I believe. I'm pretty sure financial aid won't be an issue. The last day to complete the fafsa for 13/14 is June 30 I believe ... Although I'm in the same boat as you. What other class are you going to take? I'll only have loans available to me so I'll have to take at least 6 hours to get the aid.

Unless a nursing elective is available I don't have any prereqs left :/ so maybe I'll have to wait until fall anyway. I forgot about the 6 hours. I was only eligible for loans too. Dang

I'm taking med term which is a three hour credit here , I figured I needed brushing up on my medterm anyways. It's completely online.

That's a great idea!! I might do that as well. Is it a class that will be an elective that counts towards our major classes?

Nope it's a resp, or rest .... Something class

I looking to apply to the AASU nursing program for Spring 2015. I already have a B.S. and Masters degree. I have already taken A&P I & II at AASU and enrolled to take Microorganisms in the Fall. Does anyone know how they would calculate my GPA (would it be based off of classes taken at AASU only)? I am really nervous about applying & hopefully getting accepted to the program.

I have no idea. Personally, I was a transfer, with no ASU classes, and they used my transfer gpa. That worked out pretty well for me bc my transfer gpa at asu was higher than my old school. Good luck!

Hi Lar1207 Im too for spring and do

you know about the teas scores thats needed.

Hi! I saw your response to this post from last year--I see that you are in the accelerated program this year. Is that correct? Anyway...I have just applied for the 2015-2016 year and got an interview appointment today. I am excited, but nervous. How do you like the accelerated program? Are you glad that you went that route versus the traditional route? Was the interview process difficult? I know that you are probably very busy with classes, but any info that you could share with me would be great! Thanks in advance.
