Are you a studyholic?

How do you study? What is the best time of the day for all the information to get in your head? How many hours? Do you study everyday, the whole weekend?

What are your study habits? Do you eat when you study? Do you listen to the radio or you want pure silence? Where do you study? Do you prefer group study or self-study?

Just wondering everybody's study habits. Please share!

I usually study at night. Sometimes 8pm - 1am. That's the best time for me to retain all the information needed. I just read all my notes and sometimes try to test myself by writing it. I've never actually tried using flashcards ever. I use my old notebooks from previous semesters when studying to save papers. Whenever I study, I want pure silence because I am easily distracted. I'm good with group study too since it's really beneficial for the whole group. I also like self-studying since like I said I want pure silence when I study. :lol2:

What about you guys?

Alone, in the "other" bedroom, computer, desk, drink, sometimes food, but usually take food breaks and pet the dog breaks. Taking a pet the dog break is really refreshing. Breaks are KEY!!!!!! Especially when it involves going outside. Sometimes i play soft dance music or jazz. My only problem, since I stay logged online, is avoiding youtube to watch stupid things and celebrity stuff. I start off searching for a lady partsl delivery and end up on Whitney Houston trying to squeak through a song.

That is funny because I've experienced the same thing. My study table is usually beside my laptop table. I search something in google and end up watching youtube videos. Which is why I sometimes unplug my laptop and leave it in the kitchen. lol It's always a distraction. Indeed, breaks are good! Too much studying is bad, and can exhaust once brain. >.
