Due to tight situation, I have one university which offers bachelor of psychiatric nursing only. But I don't want to pursue psychiatric nursing. So I was wondering if it is possible to complete prerequisites of Psychiatric Nursing and transfer to another university where I can study year 2 of Bachelor of Nursing. (Btw I will pursuing my degree in Manitoba of Canada)

You can compare both programs e.g. look at the classes in year 1 if they have similarities/ are they transferrable to another university? so you're not wasting time & money when switching. Is it worth the wait for a space in BScN? Can you rather enrol for the Elective classes needed for the BScN?

The mandatory courses of Nursing and Psych Nursing aren't same, unfortunately. Also, I'm an international student so we don't have a university providing just elective classes in the place I'm currently living. I will be applying to a Canadian university that offers prerequisites for nursing only. But regardless, I will look for any university which will help me to enroll for electives only if I don't get the acceptance letter from the one to which I applied. Thank you for the suggestion!
