hey i heard, from one of the CRNA's at overlook hospital. that in a few years they might make CRNA degree a doctrate instead of a masters? what diff. would this make? more years of studying?
and
Is becoming a CRNA really really hard for a hard working person?

Yes. It is projected that by 2017 all Nurse Anesthesia programs transition to doctorate degrees. Those who are CRNA's now will be "grandfathered" in, just like those with Bachelors or certificate degrees did many many years ago.

Your time line may be a little off, The AANA position is that they support clinical doctorate education for entry to practice by 2025. The AACN position is that all advanced practice nurse education be at the clinical doctorate level by 2015. The COA standards have not yet been changed to mandate the transition or timeline.
Please understand that these positions refer to the clinical or practice doctoral degrees not the PhD.
