Are LPN classes from Concorde Jax, Fl Transferable?

Nursing Students LPN/LVN Students

Hello to all,

I'm ready to begin my future in the nursing field. Im trying to figure out which is the best route to take right now. What I do know is that I'm trying to get my "feet wet" the quickest way possible. Im currently considering taking the LPN program thru Concorde. Then transfer to FCCJ or SJRCC for the RN bridge program.

Has anybody done this? Are all of Concordes credits transferable??

Thanks in advance!! Any help/opinions are greatly appreciated!

Concorde is a trade school with campuses across the country, and their credits usually do not transfer to schools with regional accreditation such as community colleges and universities. You will need to take your prerequisite classes at a community college or university if you intend on bridging to the RN.

Most community colleges will grant you 1 year worth of advanced placement or en bloc credit for having attained an LPN license, regardless of where you attended school. They simply will not accept the prerequisites that were taken at the trade school (if any). For example, community colleges will not accept credits earned while completing Concorde's A&P class, so you would have to take college level A&P at a community college.

That helps in making my decision. Thank you thecommuter!
