Are you happy you have undertaken a post grad course?
Are you doing it full time or are you doing it part time and holding down a full time job?
What are your reasons for choosing the post grad course you have chosen?
I really need to do a masters in something but am struggling with knowing what to do and what my reasons are for choosing the right masters course

Very interested in this thread!
I haven't started classes yet, but I will be started at Walden in June for MSN Education. There was a lot of debate with me between education and NP, and finally decided on education. I also really wanted to be in a brick and mortar school, but I'm not sure where I'll be in a few years. There have been really great reviews on Walden from Allnurses.com which was my deciding factor to take the plunge with an online school.

I decided on MSN Nurse Educator because it was less competetive, Grants and scholarships for nurse educators are available, no indication of a flooded market in the near future and I can always do a post masters certification in the specialty of choice in the future. I really have no plans to leave my current job after graduation. I will probably transfer to staff development dept. I do not regret my decision at all !
Good luck !
