Are Grey's Anatomy Scrubs worth the price?

I wore them for the first few years of my career, but now I'm transitioning over to Healing Hands. I've only worn the 'classic' styles, so I can't speak to the quality, material, or wear for any of the 'athletic' styles like active, signature, or impact.

Pros are that they're some of the most flattering scrubs I've ever worn, they're lightweight and breezy (which makes them relatively comfortable), and the color doesn't fade with washing. Even though they're pricey, they're also pretty ubiquitous (you can buy them literally anywhere that sells scrubs), so usually if you shop around you can find some decent discounts. They also come in the widest range of colors I've ever seen, which is great if you aren't required to wear one specific color; the best deals are generally on the colors that are being discontinued (I've gotten some $12 purple, pink, and teal GA scrub pants).

Cons are that they aren't particularly stretchy (as opposed to some scrubs that literally feel like yoga pants), and the material tends to 'pill' pretty quickly in high-impact areas, like the inner thighs and where the bottom of your badge hits your chest. I had one pair of scrub pants that I wore weekly for about a year and nearly wore a hole through one of the inner thighs, although I doubt you'd notice it unless I deliberately sat spread eagle...

Some of the bright colors also have a haziness that I can't quite describe; they just seem a bit dull compared to other brands. It isn't an issue for the really light/pastel or really dark colors, but I wasn't a fan of their royal blue compared to the royal blue of other brands (like Healing Hands). It's a strange phenomenon, since in the 'pros' section I said that the color doesn't fade over time. With the bright colors, it's almost like the initial color looks kind of dull/faded (but stays unchanged over time). Essentially, the color you get at the time of purchase is the color you'll have two years later.

Healing Hands is about the same price, but so far I've found them to be a bit more comfortable and durable, although they're not quite as flattering (at this point in my life, I'm more interested in function than form).

No matter what, I'd suggest that you go to a scrub shop and try on different brands if at all possible. That way, you can find what material you think is the most comfortable and what cuts are the most flattering on you.

Personally, I love Grey's scrubs! They are a little pricey, but worth the money for me!

They fit amazing, and make tall, petite lengths etc, and they make plenty different fits so you will find something that you like, for sure! They will definitely be some of the most flattering scrubs you'll wear.

Also, they make colors of all kinds! Whether you have a uniform color that's an awkward not quite Royal not quite Navy, of you can pick and choose your color, you'll find what you need!

They are comfortable! And not too stretchy, and stain resistant!

I swear by greys scrubs!
