Are my grades a yay or neigh?

HI Everyone!

I'm a new member to the site and very happy to see other members from WCCCD here. :wink2: I'm a little worried about getting accepted into the program this fall. I hope some of you can help me. Last semester, I received A's in A&PI and Engl, and a B in psy. This semester, I'm at an A standing in A&PII and Micro. The downside, I'm HOPING to get a C in Sociology (this semester). I should've dropped the class when I had a chance to, but just didn't . Do you guys still think I have a chance or will they factor in my Soc. grade? Thank You!:nuke:

If you get A's in both A&P2 and Micro then you will be fine GPA wise. Soc is a coreq so they wont factor that grade into your GPA for admission unless it will boost your overall GPA.

These are the 5 prereq classes that they use for your admission GPA:

ENG 119 = A

BIO 240 = A

BIO 250 = A

BIO 295 = A

Psy 101 = B

Your GPA is 3.83 which I believe is more than enough to get in. ....Again don't worry about the Soc class because it isn't a prereq. What was your NET score?

Whew!! That's a relief to hear. I'm still waiting for my NET score, I took the test about 2 weeks ago. Maybe I'll see ya next month at the application meeting!

Don't worry so much about your NET score they only use it as a tie breaker. Just as long as you pass it, that is all that matters! Good luck and pm me when you get them...I would love to hear that you PASSED!!!!
