Does anyone know of any CRNA schools in Israel..Does not matter what city just as long as they accept BSN nurses from the US

Thanks in advance for any help.

Best suggestion is to go to the website for the equivalent of their Board of Nursing and it should list the type of Advanced Practice Nurses that they have. Then you can pull up a list of approved programs, if one os available there.

You will first need to get a license to practice there before being able to start a program, if one does exist.

Good luck to you. :)

But be aware that if you were to return to the US later on, the CRNA or equivalent earned there would not be accepted in the US, you would have to attend school here again for that. Same goes for anesthetists from other countries that wish to work in the US doing the same. They need to attend school again here for the full program. Not sure if you were aware of that. It is the same for physicians as well, they would need to complete a residency again in the area that they wished to work in. Not all training transfers to other countries.

Specializes in Hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, transplant..

Hi!

What CRNA stands for.

No nurse in Israel is permitted to provide anasthesia. ( I hope spelling is right)

That's correct. Anesthesia is done ONLY by doctors in Israel and I don't think that it's going to change any time soon.

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

I don't see it changing either................
