So I am planning to take online classes at Ocean County College (A&P I and Chem I) for my prereqs. These courses include labs. The college says that my transcripts will not denote whether or not these are online classes. However I am just worried if I take these classes that nursing programs might find out if they are online or not take my courses. Has anyone taken these classes and had any problems with them being accepted? Or have people that have taken them had no problems with them transferring over?
I don't want to take these classes and risk them not being accepted by my nursing programs that I plan to apply.
Any help would greatly be appreciated!
Thanks!

If you have any question in this regard, you should ask the schools that you intend to apply to. However, I doubt that you will have any problems. Many people have successfully used Ocean County courses.

Hi Wannabeenynurse, I'm going to be applying to 2 diffirent nursing schools this year: pending I pass all my classes this semester, one of them being A+P I online at OCC starting the spring semester (Jan 24th). I did alot of research on this college and I did alot of research on student post here and I havent seen one negative thing abot OCC's science classes and they seem to transfer with no problem at all.
The classes might be alittle costly for some bc you are going to have to pay out of pocket it you are out of state bc you cant get finiancial aid. All together for A+P I I paid $1258.00
tution-$608.00
book including access code and cd-$250.00
Lab kit-$400.00
No preqs are required before entering the class, as long as you apply as a non-degree seeking student.
I hope this helps with you decision.
