Hi,
I picked up a pair of Birkenstock Alpro clogs yesterday to wear during clinical (my regular New Balances just weren't working for me). I have never paid that much for a pair of shoes but I'm told that in our field one shouldn't skimp on their choice of 'kicks'. Any guys (or gals) out their wear Birkenstocks on the job? I'm trying to break 'em in - how long did it take you? And do they last? Do they get more comfortable after they are broken in? They are a little stiff right now, but I've only had them 24 hours at this point.

Bumping this up because I am looking at buying this pair for nursing school.
I used to be a chef and have a pair of Birkenstock professional clogs. I LOVED them. I would wear these again but I need white for our uniform. Im sad that I cant find the Professional clogs in white anymore so Im hoping that these are quite similar. Can anyone chime in?

I thought the Alpro line took over professional. Maybe you could look at a picture online and see if it looks the same? I just bought some white leather Alpro's for nursing school this fall.
