Anyone that has applied for ARC for the fall semester of 2015, share info here so we can support one another! I know applications closed yesterday, March 6, 2015 so responses should be going out in just a couple short weeks!! Good luck to all.
Oh my goodness! I was under the impression that with the new system, that didn't really happen anymore! It took 7 years? I am 34 in a week and am so afraid of waiting that long to get a good job!! I mean, I will keep trying but I really hope I don't wait too long. I'm scared!!
Fortunately for me, all that was under the old system. I spent 4 years applying and reapplying. It still could have been that long under the "new" system and probably would have been much less. I easily had enough points to enter the applicant pool under the new system. Back then, I was competing against 800-1100 applicants every semester.
akulahawk, you make me feel like I just need to stay determined!! I just get so worried that I am going to forget everything I have learned by the time I get there. On top of that, I have been a stay at home mom for the last 9 years and I very much want to work and I would love that to be a job serving others. I just can't wait to be a nurse!! I can't wait to be there with all of the amazing nurses I have had the pleasure of being served by. One day...Patience...I will try.
Thanks for all of your information. :)

I'm glad I can be of service to you as inspiration. When things get tough, don't give up. While you're waiting to get in, continue your education to make sure you have completed all the graduation requirements so that when you are selected, you can just get the courses done and you'll graduate and finish the program at the same time. Also you can review the core science stuff from time to time to help keep your head in the game. You'll just want to mostly review the lifespan stuff and A&P, concentrating mostly on the physiology.
